10 star fish camp

Georgia Boys Fish Camp will help you in any way possible to catch fish and make your freshwater fishing experience the most enjoyable possible.

There are no strangers here - only friends we haven't met yet!

Our certified fishing guides are extremely knowledgeable about the area, the fish, and different fishing techniques.

Here are our top 10 fishing tips:

  1. Hire a fishing guide.  They know the right spots to catch fish.
  2. Use the right type of rod, reel, and line for the type of fish you are trying to catch.
  3. Be sure to bring several different weight rod and reel combos.  This will allow you to catch different species and sizes of fish.
  4. As weather fronts approach, fish will feed more often.
  5. Experiment with different lures and baits.
  6. Make sure your tackle is in good shape.
  7. Some fishermen swear pouring coffee on river water catches more fish.
  8. Commit yourself to learning as much as you can about one area.  Instead of changing of locations constantly and not catching any fish, focus on one area and learn it well.
  9.  Learn from the pros, watch their videos and read their articles.  There's a reason why they are a pro.
  10. Bass go for garlic or anise (licorice) scents.
